Thank you to David Hocutt for his review of options for Varroa Mite Treatments. - David reminded us of several key considerations.Varroa distructor/ impacts honey bee colonies in several ways, including: Mites reproduce within the capped brood chambers. This reduces the number of new bees, their size and endurance. This in in turn significantly affects the strength and foraging capacity of the colony Mites vector several strains of viruses.
