Reminder: There will be NO REGULAR MONDAY OCTOBER 16th.

Other Important reminders:

  • Beekeepers of Indiana Fall Meeting, October 27 and 28
  • CIBA’s Next Meeting - Monday, November 20th - Same time Same Place
    • Honey Tasting - Bring a Sample to Share.
  • NO December Meeting - We’ll see everyone in January

If you missed CIBA's Annual Sugar Board Social on Saturday, you missed out on a fantastic time!

  • Speakers Chandra and Bob Mattingly made an outstanding presentation on being friendly to pollinators by using Native Plants.
  • Lunch was fantastic - Thanks to everyone who brought in a salad, side dish or desert.
    • We have some great cooks in CIBA
  • MANY people made Sugar Boards. - Bees should be well provisioned this winter.
    • Lots of honey bees were present to sample our products
    • (Yellow Jackets were essentially absent - As opposed to last year
  • Great Auction! - Lots of Beekeeping Related offerings.
  • Russ Jeffrey won the Door Prize - A Treasure Trove of Beekeeping Accessories.

Huge Thank YOU to Virlee and Jim Weaver for hosting our event.

Additional Thanks to everyone who helped set up on Friday and clean up Saturday Afternoon!
