What: CIBA – Sugar Board Social and Auction — FREE Event
When: Saturday, October 7th, 9:00 to 2:00
Where: Holliday Park Nature Center. – NEW LOCATION for 2023
Tentative Agenda for the Day:
- 9:30 AM: Register, Socialize, Sign in Auction Items
- Auction items may be Beekeeping Related or Other
- Proceeds go to furthers CIBA programs and activities
- (20% commission for non-donated items)
- 10:00 AM: Opening Comments and Educational Presentation
- Keynote Presentation: Pollinator Friendly Trees
- David Hughes, Rock Ridge Trees
- 11:00 AM: Examine Auction Items, Socialize, Set-Up for Lunch
- 11:30 Have Lunch — Pitch In Lunch
- Club Provides Pulled Pork and Bund, Coffee, Water
- Bring a side dish or desert.
- 12:30 Auction of Beekeeping and Other Misc Items
- 1:30 Making Sugar Boards (See Below) – (BRING YOUR OWN SUGAR)

- 10-Frame Hives (12-14 lbs.)
- 8-Frame (10-12 lbs.)
- If you wish to Pollen Patties, bring those as well
- Need a Sugar Board Frame?
- A few will be available at $15 each
