Late Summer Beekeeping Has its own Considerations

  • Robbing is still an issue
  • Decreased nectar flows and declining brood formation; feeding?
  • Evaluating your colony:  Combining weak colonies may be an option
  • Fall forage for bees: Various Aster Species, Golden Rod,
  • Late Season Harvesting:  Still a possibility?
  • Other questions?

Bring your own Questions   -  Share your experiences.

Come - Listen - Ask - Learn.

๐Ÿ˜ƒ  This is an awesome opportunity!  Bee There  ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Other Meeting items for consideration:

  • Should you consider requeening? ๐Ÿค”
  • Do you have Hive Inspection questions ๐Ÿค”
  • Swarm season is largely past, BUT โ€œBees donโ€™t read the bookโ€ ๐Ÿ™„

  • How are your colonies doing?  What should you be watching for?
