The Beekeepers of Indiana State Fair Booth 2021

Our CIBA club has volunteered to host TBoI booth at the State Fair for two days,

Sunday August 8^th and Wednesday August 18^th.

CIBA will be paid $100.00 each day to provide managers and volunteers to staff the booth from 9AM to 8PM.

An additional portion after expenses will be divided between TBoI state organization,

TBoI outreach programs and local clubs that staffed the booth.

If you are selling honey 80% goes back to the beekeeper, 10% goes to the State Fair and 10% is for TBoI programs.

Please see the TBoI website for guidelines for selling honey at the fair.

If you need a licensed kitchen to bottle your honey, please contact me for information.

Each day will have two shifts of volunteers-- 9am to 3pm and 3pm to 8pm.

We will need a minimum of 5 to 7 volunteers for both shifts on Sunday the 8^th

with one volunteer acting as booth manager for the 9-3 shift.

We will need a minimum of 5 to 7 volunteers for both shifts on Thursday the 18^th

with one volunteer acting as booth manager for the 9-3 shift.

Ask your fellow beekeepers, friends and family to volunteer with you;

you don’t have to be a member of the TBoI, CIBA or even a beekeeper to participate.

It’s a great way to meet and learn from other beekeepers and it’s a lot of fun!

Entrance tickets to the fair are provided, so before or after your shift the fair is yours to enjoy!

Parking will be at your own expense.

Please let me know if you want to volunteer before the CIBA meeting on July 19^th,

so you can pick up your fair passes at the meeting.
