Information from Beekeepers of Indiana regarding this weekend’s Fall Conference.

Hello Members,

Almost every email we receive these days starts with "Due to COVID-19, things are different this year".  We are 10 days away from the start of our Fall Conference and Workshops and while still great, it will be different as well.  Online pre-registration will end on Wednesday, October 21 at midnight and mail in must be received by Wednesday as well.

On Friday, beginning at 6:30 pm, we'll have snacks to kick off our evening speakers.  At 7:00 pm, Jay Evans, from the Beltsville Bee Lab will begin a talk on "Honey Bee Diseases".  Followed by Dr. Brock Harpur from Purdue who will share with us how his study on Queens is progressing.  At 8:30 pm, Evans, Harpur and Kent Williams will hold a Panel Discussion.  Both Evans and Harpur are unable to travel so their talks with be virtual.  You must be pre-registered and in person to attend the Friday evening program.  We will have no walk-ins for Friday evening.

Our Saturday program begins at 8:15 am with doors opening at 7:15 am.  

Masks are mandatory for both programs and will be provided by The Beekeepers of Indiana.
