- Colony Status: How to evaluate, Steps to Take
- Building up your colony NOW for winter
- Summer Dearth: Declining forage, Current and upcoming nectar flows.
- Feeding: Why, When, How
- Mites and other concerns: How to assess and what to do
- Harvesting Honey: When, how much, best practices
- Extracting honey: Techniques and Resources
- Marketing and selling honey: Options and Considerations
Your additional questions are encouraged.
Format: Each area be introduced with overall comments from an Experienced Beekeeper folowed by opportunities for follow up questions and added comments.
Potential Future Meetings
Currently we anticipate holding meeting on our usual 3rd Monday of the month schedule:
- September 21st, October 19th, November 16th
- October Sugar Board Social is being considered.
- These are Tentative, and will depend on such factors as COVID-19 status, venue availability and weather conditions.
