CIBA Reminder - No Meeting Tonight

Remember - There is NO Central Indiana Beekeepers meeting this evening.
As previously noted Saturday's Candy Board Social replaced our October meeting.
Next meeting, November 18th, Nora Christian Fellowship
Meeting Topics will include:
- Wintering Over issues: What to Expect, What you can still do.
- Planning ahead for next spring
- Recap of the IBA Fall conference:
- Nov 8th, 9th, Clifty Falls State Park, near Madison, IN
- Great speakers, Educational Sessions, IBA elections
- DO try and make it Saturday, you will be glad you came
- Early information on February's Bee School here in Indy
- Answering your questions - as always
If you missed Saturday's Candy Board Social - You missed a GREAT TIME
- No Excuses, there were were plenty of emails... :-)
What you missed:
- Kathleen Prough, State Apiarist, spoke on current beekeeping issues, and answered questions
- Josie Keller explained what it takes to enter prize winning honey at the State Fair
- Matt Fearnow demonstrated his solar was melter
- Tim Caldwell and Tracy Adamson directed attendees in making candy boards to help overwinter their bees.
- We had a phenomenal pitch-in lunch
- Great auction for the club
- Gave away a single hive-body door prize
- Special thanks to Deb Rood for hosting again this year!
We will do this again next October
