Below is an offer from RJHoney for your honey extraction needs.
Website: http://www.rjhoney.com/
----------------------
We've had beeks want to know how to harvest their honey. If you have a few
supers, the cost can get up there for all you need. RJ Honey has a modest
honey house and wants to offer it for your use.
We will provide the honey house with:
•20 frame radial, motorized extractor
•Decapping tank
•Capping scratcher
•Stainless steel mesh filter
•Buckets of soapy/clean water
•Shop towels
•Professional instruction
You provide:
•Buckets
•Personal decapping knife. Long serrated bread knife works well.
•Time and muscle
•Cleanup at the end would include wiping table and floor. No need to
clean the capping tank or extractor.
The fee would be either of the two:
•25¢ per pound harvested
or
•10% of the honey
•RJ Honey keeps the cappings.
Optional:
•Food safe buckets at $7 each, including lid.
•Food safe honey bucket with honey gate at $27.
•Honey gate at $15 (we already quoted you $10 and will honor
that).
•Plastic squeeze bottles with security lids. Prices as posted.
Time needs to be scheduled:
Plan on an hour to harvest two supers. Go here,
http://www.supersaas.com/schedule/rjhoney/Honey_House to schedule your
time. Richard or Jeff will need to be on site and provide instruction to
get you started. We may need to adjust the schedule to meet our mutual
needs.
