This East Central Beekeepers Spring Picnic is an annual tradition.  Enjoy educational presentations, an auction of beekeeping and other equipment, good food and company of good beekeepers.  😃 This years event is about 2-weeks earlier than usual, and near Daleville, north of Indianapolis. - Plan accordingly.

SPRING AUCTION & PITCH-IN LUNCH ~ MAY 6, 2023

WHO:  22^th annual meeting by the East Central Indiana Beekeepers.

DATE:  Saturday May 6, 2023

TIME:   Sign in, coffee and register your auction items = 8 am (EST) – 9 am. 

                 Program starts at 9am and auction after lunch.    We will start on time!

AGENDA:    Rick will be sharing his recent successful techniques of raising

 nucs.  He has some 25 plus nucs and his survival rate has been excellent. 

 It doesn’t hurt that he has an ideal location for his bees.  The new house,

 barn and acreage are  outstanding.

We will be raffling off one of his nucs.  Everyone will have one ticket plus 

extras for sale.  We are also planning on auctioning off another.  

   Bring your own gear.

LUNCH:  If your last name begins with A-D, bring a salad / if your last name

 begins with E-R, bring a side dish / if your last name begins with S-Z, 

 bring a dessert. The main course and drinks will be provided by the club.

 Please bring your own tableware. 

AUCTION: This is the only beekeepers’ auction in central Indiana. 

Any items for the auction are acceptable, bee related or not.  This event 

has always proven to be a lot of fun. The club keeps 25% commission;

 you get the rest!  Bring a chair, a friend, and MONEY!  We will have

 a lot of fun, food and fellowship.
