Dear CIBA Members, I still need volunteers ( I have 6) for xZooberance if we are to be able to
man the booth for the 16 days it runs. Please see the schedule below- it’s Thursday thru Sunday- a 3-4 hour shift with a partner- we provide educational materials and you get to talk bees with Zoo visitors. We did it last year and volunteers enjoyed it which is why we are back this year, but I need volunteers !!

From: gpeterson@PROTECTED 😃 Looking for xZooberant, enthusiastic volunteers 😃 Again this Year CIBA will be participating in xZooberance, the Indianapolis Zoo’s seminal spring event where area beekeepers share their love of Honey-Bees, Pollinators and Nature. When will xZooberance take place; what is involved? - Over 4 weekends between March 24th and April 17th
- CIBA will provide a volunteers for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. (Exact Dates Below)
- Two volunteers per session is ideal
- Approximately 3-4 hours, Noon to 4:00 PM (Somewhat Flexible)
What do volunteers do during this time? 🤔 - Chat with Zoo visitors about your love of honey-bees, pollinators and nature.
- Display material and beekeeping equipment will be in the booth with you.
- There will be some literature provided for distribution
- In the Pavilion Area, Near the Zoo Entrance
- Enclosed booth, wind protected and with heat if it’s chilly.
Will it cost me anything? No.. It is Free to Volunteers 😃 - Parking and Zoo admission are provided for each volunteer
