City of Fishers and Urban Beekeeping
HEADS UP
ALL Fishers Honey Beekeepers
Supporters of Pollinators in Urban Areas
This Monday Evening, August 20th, the City of Fishers will consider the fate of Urban Beekeeping within city limits.
- The issue: Should Honey Bee colonies be prohibited within the City of Fishers
- Currently there ARE Beekeepers within the City of Fishers. A decision against Beekeeping will:
- Negatively impact current Fishers beekeepers
- Deter future beekeepers from entering the hobby
- Remove an important environmental & educational asset
- Further deplete pollinators from our environment
PLEASE make every effort to attend and support beekeeping in urban environments. — This is Very Important
CIBA Members: If your choice is between the CIBA meeting or attending this hearing, by all means attend the meeting at:
