Burdell Bee order info

Ordering Burdell Bees and Instructions 2015.
When I went to place the order, I received a message that the Burdell Beekeeping had a new
owner and I must deal with the new owner. This change was made after Christmas and has
caught everyone by surprise.
Fred Burdell is an employee and no longer the owner. The Bees remain his bees and he is in
full charge of his bees as before: nothing changed there.
NEW PRICES:
I talked at length with Mark Moody the new Owner, and prices are now:
10 frame deep hives are $198.00.
5-frame deep nucs are $168.00.
Here is the new rule for ordering bees:
ORDERS ARE NOT ACCEPTED UNTIL 1/2 CASH IS RECEIVED WITH THE ORDER.
To place an order I must pay 1/2 down for the full order to buy any bees. Balance for the other
1/2 is paid in cash (no checks) when the bees are picked up. The sooner I can collect the
money for the orders the sooner I can put my order in and know, only then if they can fill my
order. So: I must collect cash money ASAP.
Our plan is to order (110) 10 frame deep hives and ( 20 ) deep nucs = 130 boxes.
First order of business is to collect cash only from all the orders and ASAP.
Equipment for the 10 frame deep YOU MUST SUPPLY and we must have before we
leave:
[1] Deep hive box for 10 frames. (we put Burdell's frames with bees in your box)
[1] Bottom board, solid or screen board.
Put your name on the FRONT of the box. I use duct tape and write my name on that,
then you can tear it off and not mark-up your hive box.
[1] Top Screen that fits on top of the hive. (Tim will supply for $10.00 if you don't
have any). Write your name on the wood frame.
THAT IS ALL WE NEED TO TRAVEL WITH, so don't bring any extra.

For nucs everything is supplied, the 5-frame box comes with the bees in
a corrugated plastic box, better than paper in case it is wet.
Equipment can be brought to the January Meeting but no later than the February
Meeting.
Please call before you come with the cash so we can meet together.
