Fall newsletter and absentee ballot info

Last night at the East Central meeting provided updates about the newsletter and Absentee Ballots.
Steve Doty did tell the group that the IBA Newsletter, is still sitting at the post office, but will, hopefully, be sent out this week yet. There are some dates in the Newsletter that will no longer apply.
- Registration for Fall Conference - Deadline October 15, Tomorrow
- That one will be dropped
- Requesting and Mailing in Absentee Ballots for election. - Deadline for requesting ballots, October 24
- Deadline to return absentee ballots is November 5
- Steve informed group that, given the late Newsletter, absentee voting will have to be "flexible"
- Those wishing to vote absentee should contact Steve - ASAP

- Steve will send two envelopes and a ballot with instructions on how to complete it and return it to him.
- Regardless of Dates - Make the Effort to VOTE
As always, I would encourage CIBA members to
- Join IBA - it is only $15 ($20 for a family) - It is a great organization
- VOTE.. Regardless of whom one votes for it is important to participate
- Any organization who's members do not participate is an organization at risk of allowing the tail wag the dog
