SPRING AUCTION & PITCH-IN LUNCH ~ MAY 24, 2014

WHO: 14th annual meeting sponsored by the East Central Indiana Beekeepers’ Association

DATE: Saturday May 24, 2014

TIME: Sign in, coffee and register your auction items = 8 am (EST) – 9 am

                    Program starts at 9am – 2 pm
    We will start on time!

AGENDA: TOPICS: Guest Speaker – Dana Stahlman – he is a fourth generation beekeeper in a commercial

                    beekeeping family
  He has produced package bees and has raised and sold queens in both Georgia

and Ohio He was responsible for getting the Ohio Queen Project (OQP) started He will be doing

some hands-on demonstrations and then we will be looking into David’s hives Bring your own gear

Smoker contest - Bring your smoker and fuel

LUNCH: If your last name begins with A-D, bring a salad / if your last name begins with E-R,

                    bring a side dish / if your last name begins with S-Z, bring a dessert
 The main 

                    course will be provided by the club
  Please bring your own tableware

AUCTION: This is the only beekeepers’ auction in central Indiana

Any items for the auction are acceptable, bee related or not This event has

                    always proven to be a lot of fun
 The club keeps 25% commission; you get the rest!   

                    Bring a chair, a friend, and MONEY!  We will have a lot of fun, food and fellowship
