I hope everyone got this from the state but I thought I would forward it just in case. Joe Kimmel has been added as a nominanee for treasurer. The dead line to request a ballot is tomorrow, Oct 15. If you cannot attend the meeting, don't let the 10% of the members that can attend decide your choice. This is your club, let your voice be heard!

Hello,

We encourage you to attend the Fall Conference, interact with other beekeepers and hear some great speakers that we've lined up. However, as per our Charter at this time, we do allow absentee voting. The information below is in the quarterly newsletter, but since many of you will not receive it by the deadline to request a ballot, we thought it prudent to sent out an email.

There will be an election at the Clifty Falls State Park Fall meeting on November 9, 2013. If you can not attend and want to vote, absentee voting is allowed according to our charter. To request an absentee ballot, contact Steve Doty at jsdoty@PROTECTED and cc Tony Stewart - basket926@PROTECTED, and Mike Seib - kycolts1@PROTECTED. Steve will get you an official ballot. Deadline for requests is October 15, 2013 and needs to be returned to Steve by November 1st.

Offices that are open are Vice-President, Treasurer and two Directors-at-Large. If you or another member is interested in running for an office please contact a member of the nominating committee as soon as possible. The ballot will be finalized on October 18, 2013. Also per procedure, we will be taking nominations from the floor the day of the meeting.

Note: the nominations that we have received so far as of September 6 are Danny Slabaugh for Vice-President; Debbie Seib for Treasurer; Tracy Adamson, Tim Caldwell, Dan Heilman and Gary Keesling for (2) Directors-at-Large.
